Each year, Camp Okoboji hosts Outdoor Education for the Lutheran schools in Iowa District West. The purpose of Camp Okoboji’s Outdoor Education is to provide elementary-aged students with a learning experience within a Christian outdoor context in which they develop friendships, learn new skills, appreciate God’s creation, and grow in the faith.
When is Outdoor Education?
There are 3 sessions:
September 11-13
September 18-20
September 25-27
What activities will we do?
Activities such as Bible studies, kayaking, archery, building and launching bottle rockets, cooking over a fire, campfire devotions, and more will be done during Outdoor Education.
What should I bring?
Clothes (For warmer and colder weather)
